      The next Nature Group Outing will take place on Monday 7th February.  It will be to Slimbridge Wetland Centre, Slimbridge GL2 7BT.  Tickets are Adults £14.50, Concessions £12.27.  We will meet in the Entrance area at 10am and then freely, or together, explore the various hides and exhibitions.  There will be a lunch break at the Kingfisher Kitchen between 12.30pm and 1pm.  For those who only wish to come for the afternoon to witness the feeding of the Bewick swans (and other species) from the Rushy pen, please meet us at lunchtime.

      This is an amazing time to see up to 30,000 wild wintering ducks, geese and swans, especially the Bewick swans.

      PLEASE NOTE:  THE OUTING WILL BE CANCELLED IF IT RAINS.  AT PRESENT MASKS ARE REQUIRED IN THE HIDES, RECEPTION AREAS AND TOILETS.

          Janice, Karin, many thanks for organising the visit. I have captured too many frames as usual but will filter out a few good shots, I hope.
