Hidcote is one of the best known and most influential Arts and Crafts gardens in Britain. Rare trees, shrubs, and herbaceous borders provide many good photographic opportunities. There are also landscape possibilities and hopefully butterflies on the flowers.
I would recommend wide angle, midrange and macro lenses to capture all possibilities there.
We plan to meet in the car park at 10am and break for an early lunch at the Winthrop’s Café at 12.00.
Entry price is £15 for adults ( £16.50 with Gift Aid). Summer is a busy time and it is advisable to book tickets in advance. Full details for this are on the website. However, please note that if it is raining this event will be cancelled so please watch the weather before booking in advance.
