The History of Photography session seemed to go down well, so maybe a future session could involve a look at a few 19th century and early 20th century photos to consider their merits – both at the time and by current standards. Including perhaps the re-action camera club judges might have to them.
Meanwhile the session for the 10th will attempt to overturn the WYSIWYG adage (around in the early days of graphical user interfaces, GUIs, on our PCs ) with the notion that ‘What You Don’t See Is What You Get’ . Once again examples will be a primer for discussion- this time on how each of us trys to ensure we capture what we intend. A chance for a bit of mutual learning.
