I realised that I had not produced a print for at least 6 months and nor had I run a Nozzle check for 3 months. When I have long gaps in printing, I like to initiate a nozzle check just to check all is clear or run a cleaning cycle, if not. So today I ran the Nozzle check and there was no sign of one of the colours but after two cleans, it was OK. I then printed an A3 B&W and a colour print and all was well. Epsom claimed that the ink nozzles were unlikely to dry out unless the humidity was low which it has been for a few days now. Hopefully, we will be able to enter prints again next season so we must keep our printers in a good working state meanwhile.
