“The next Nature Group outing will be to Lydney Park Estate Gardens on Tuesday 9th May. It is situated on the outskirts of the village of Aylburton.
We will have the opportunity to photograph carpets of bluebells, rhododendrons, azaleas and other spring plants in the 8 acre woodland garden. There is also a Roman ruin and deer park. Lydney Harbour is nearby.
We will meet at 10.30am in the Deer Park car park, after you have paid for your ticket at the Entrance. Ticket price is £7.50. Please bring a picnic lunch and any beverages, as there is no Cafe. Portaloos are provided.
