We have got a bit out of synch with the fortnightly schedule, owing to The Playhouse event and HA as Polling Station, so the season’s final sessions are on conscutive weeks.

On the 11th John Mallows will lead a session where we can compare and share ways of using  our cameras’ light measuring facilities. Basically tweaking automation for best results. Is matrix always best? Does spot metering have a place? What about auto ISO, compensation and histograms? You’re bound to have a current favourite method – come away from this session with one or two more. But be ready to explain what you currently do.

Then on the 18th Richard Jefferies will be steering a discussion on AI in photography. The pros & cons; the hopes  & hazards; the threats & opportunities. The Club’s informal WhatsApp  group has recently  picked-up on the stories in the media, so here’s an opportunity for a more thorough airing of members’ views.

For the moment I am assuming the AGM evening will have no scope for a 7 o’clock session .
