Gloucestershire Young Photographer Competition 2023

Cheltenham Camera Club is delighted to announce that entry is now open for the 2023 GYP Competition. This is supported by Cheltenham Arts Council and the University of Gloucestershire.

Full details of the Competition have been sent to all schools in Gloucestershire along with instructions on how to enter.

The Competition, now in its 19th year, is open to pupils in Primary and Secondary Schools in Gloucestershire.

First prize for the individual winner in both Primary and Secondary sections is £70. There are also prizes of  £40 for second and of £20 for third places.

Cups will be awarded for the BEST SCHOOL ENTRY in each section.

Each pupil may submit one titled digital image, either in colour or monochrome, with resolution of 1920px wide x 1200px high.

Please send the files to your School GYP Representative or teacher, for them to upload onto the website by Wednesday 27th  March 2023.    Do not send entries directly to gyp@cheltenhamcameraclub.co.uk

Schools will be requiring the entries a few days before this date, to allow time to upload them – so get them in early!

All winning images and all selected entries will be shown at the Audio-Visual Presentation at the Awards Evening

at the Cheltenham Playhouse on Thursday 29th April  as well as being sent to all Schools that have entered.

We look forward to seeing your pictures.
